The problem with scalp serums
Most of it never gets past your hair.
You tip oil into your palm, rub your hands together, and most of it ends up on your fingers and the lengths of your hair. The scalp — the bit you bought the serum for — gets whatever's left. This applies it underneath the hair, directly onto skin, while the massage heads work it in.

Do I have to use it with oil or serum?
No. The reservoir is optional — plenty of people run it dry purely for the massage, and the red light works either way. Fill it when you want your serum going on properly, leave it empty when you just want ten minutes of pressure on your scalp in front of the telly.
Will it work on thick, long or curly hair?
Yes — the teeth are long enough to reach through to the scalp, which is the whole point of the design. With thick or curly hair, part it into sections and work across them rather than trying to drag the comb through in one pass. It's a scalp tool, not a detangling brush.
Can I use it with minoxidil or rosemary oil?
Yes — the 6ml reservoir takes any liquid serum or oil you already use. Thicker oils flow more slowly. Check the instructions for your own product first, since some treatments have their own guidance on massage or heat.
How long does one session last?
Ten minutes. The device times it and switches off on its own, so you can use it while you're doing something else and not have to watch the clock.
How long does it take to charge?
About three hours from flat, over USB Type-C at 5V 1A — the same charger as most phones. There's no cable attached during use, so you charge it between sessions rather than while you're using it.
