The reason parents buy it
Source: Ofcom, Children and Parents: Media Use and Attitudes
Roughly how long the average UK child spends online each day. Not because they love the screen — because nothing else in the room is more interesting.
This is one of the few toys that reliably beats it. It flies, it lights up, it takes a couple of goes to master, and it works in the garden, the park or the hallway. No app. No subscription. No cable dangling off a tablet.
How the flight works
Three throws to get it.
Then you can't stop.
Switch it on
One button spins up the internal rotors and fires the LED ring. It hovers in your palm, ready.
Throw with a tilt
Angle it slightly as you release. The tilt is what sets the curve — get it right and the ball arcs out wide.
Catch the return
It loops back toward your hand. Hover it, bounce it off your palm, throw it straight back out.
Hand-controlled: it senses your palm and lifts away, so you can hover and juggle it without ever gripping the rotors.
Built for a British autumn
It's dark by four.
That's the point.
Most outdoor toys get put away when the clocks go back. This one gets better. The LED ring turns a dark garden into the reason the neighbours' kids come round — at exactly the time of year when getting anyone outside is hardest.
And when it's raining? It flies indoors. Hallways, landings and living rooms all work — give it clear space away from lampshades and it's a wet-Sunday-afternoon toy as much as a summer one.
What you're getting
Built to survive a nine-year-old.
Bright enough for dusk
Colour-shifting lights that read clearly in daylight and turn the garden into a light show after dark.
USB rechargeable, no batteries
Built-in battery charges over USB. 6–8 minutes of continuous flight per charge, then plug it back in.
30g of lightweight ABS
Protective housing around the rotors, and light enough that a stray catch to the arm doesn't sting.
Indoors and out
Hallways, gardens, parks, beaches, campsites. Fits in a coat pocket on the way out the door.
Two things we won't hide
It flies 6–8 minutes per charge. That's a burst of play, not an afternoon. Most families keep it charging between rounds — plug it in after tea, fly it before bed. If you want hours of continuous flight, this isn't the toy.
The first few throws will fail. The return depends on your release angle. Nearly everyone gets it by throw five — but if you want zero learning curve, buy a football.

Everyone wanted a turn!
This is honestly so much fun! The LED lights make it look amazing while flying, especially in the evening. It took us a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but once we did, we couldn't stop playing. Great little toy for family time!
So much fun indoors!
Bought this as a gift and it was a huge hit. The flying effect is really cool and the lights make it even more exciting. It's easy to pick up and play with, and it kept everyone entertained. Definitely a fun gift idea!
My kids absolutely love it!
Such a fun toy! The ball flies, spins and comes back in a really cool way. The LED lights are a great touch and make it even more exciting. We've been taking turns playing with it and it's quickly become a family favourite.

Questions people actually ask.
Does it really come back on its own?
It curves back toward you when you release it at the right angle — that's the boomerang effect. It isn't guided or remote-controlled, so your throw is what makes it work. Most people have the technique down within a handful of attempts.
How long does it fly for?
6–8 minutes of continuous flight per full charge, over USB. In practice you get a good stretch of play, then it charges while everyone argues about whose turn is next.
Will it work in the wind?
Not brilliantly. At 30g it's very light, so a stiff breeze will pull it off its return path and you'll spend more time fetching it than catching it. On a still evening, or indoors, it flies exactly as it should — which is most of what a British autumn gives you anyway.
Is it safe for younger kids?
It's UKCA marked and recommended for ages 6 and up with adult supervision. The rotors sit inside a protective ABS housing and the whole thing weighs 30g, so a mistimed catch doesn't hurt. Keep it away from loose long hair while it's hovering.
Can it be used indoors?
Yes — hallways and larger rooms work well, which is what makes it a wet-weekend toy as well as a garden one. Give it clear space away from lampshades and shelves, or take it outside for the full arc.
When will it arrive?
Free UK delivery on every order. Dispatched from the UK within 2 working days, with delivery in 4–5 working days.
What if we don't get on with it?
30 days to return it for a full refund. Email hello@pcrzozo.com and we'll sort it out.
